For the Digital Strategist role at S+G, we are looking for someone with 1+ years of experience and knowledge in paid social and paid search platforms, digital marketing, tracking and reporting, and client communication. We also want someone who is up for the challenges and opportunities that come with working for a scaleup, growth company.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Working on paid ad platforms including Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Amazon Ads, Google Ads and Google Analytics to build new campaigns, optimize existing campaigns and improve performance for our clients.
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for our clients to discuss account performance, new ideas and next steps to help them achieve the best return on investment.
  • Developing positive relationships that reflect true partnership in achieving the objectives of the client’s business.
  • Reviewing and analyzing campaign performance data (e.g., within Google Analytics, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc) to develop actionable insights that assist with strategic planning, KPI improvement, and growth.
  • Collaborating with our Digital Designers to develop creative ads that speak to the clients’ brand and audience.
  • Help to grow startups, scaleups and enterprise clients through clever and strategic digital marketing.
  • Monitor platform updates to anticipate any potential issues for our clients and share these with the team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1+ year of experience working on paid search and social ad platforms (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc) with experience managing campaigns from A-Z including creation, tracking and tagging setup, optimizing budgets, and reporting on campaign performance.
  • Experience managing multiple clients and projects in a data-driven environment.
  • Adaptability with a strong desire to continuously learn and develop your skills.
  • Drive to continuously grow our S+G client roster and team through providing exceptional customer service with a focus on nurturing relationships and proactive problem solving.
  • 1+ year of experience using Google Analytics, setting up conversion goals and UTM parameters for tracking.
  • An interest and proactivity in setting up tracking and integrations to collect campaign performance data, including exposure to Google Tag Manager and Facebook Pixels.
  • An analytical mindset showing accuracy and proficiency with numbers and data, with an ability to build reports and exhibit confidence when presenting findings.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment with a continued emphasis on project detail.
  • Strong communication skills both internally and client facing with a friendly demeanour and the ability to clearly deliver rationale for strategic approaches.
  • The ability to accept constructive feedback and apply changes where required.
  • Critical thinking skills with the capacity to develop unique approaches to problems and projects.

It’s a bonus if you have experience in…

  • A client/account management role with a proven ability to enhance partner experiences and build strong rapport through effective communication.
  • Programmatic advertising platforms (e.g. StackAdapt, DV360).
  • Data visualization softwares such as DataStudio or Tableau.
  • Task management/Gantt chart software (e.g. Asana, Monday.com).
  • Developing recommendations for landing pages and ads, as well as utilizing A/B tests to drive performance.

  • Collaborating with the Digital Strategists to develop and design impactful ads for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and many more.
  • Design and build landing pages in Unbounce to A/B test designs and increasing conversion rates.
  • Analyzing conversion data and coming up with creative designs to improve performance.
  • Collaborate and challenge our clients to push for differences in their brand style guidelines to improve ad performance.
  • Communicate the strategy behind your creative designs to clients with confidence.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong portfolio showcasing your digital designs such as ads, landing pages or websites.
  • 1+ year of relevant work experience creating ad designs.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop, with beginner knowledge of Figma and Canva.
  • Working knowledge of Unbounce and copy writing abilities is a huge asset.
  • Passion about conversion rate optimization and great performing ads.
